Scope of the invention! The invention relates to a toothpick with the pointed tip at one end with a slightly oval triangular profile (trapezoidal) and with a hook at the other end with a triangular profile (trapezoidal) which enables the user to access all corners of the mouth, and get into the gaps between the teeth. The tips at both ends are rough on both sides and the triangular profile is also rough. This degree of roughness thus leads to effective cleaning of the teeth in the spaces between the teeth, irrespective of whether access is from in front of or behind the teeth. This roughness means that the dental cleaner has a preventive effect on the formation of dental tartar and the triangular profile means that the gums are gently massaged. The dental cleaner thus has a preventive effect on gum diseases such as periodontitis, etc.

The invention is to be used to clean the teeth and massage the gums after each meal, as well as to enable easier and better cleaning of the gaps between the teeth, even at the corners of the mouth.

State of the art ! All other known toothpicks are without the special roughness characteristic of our product, and without the slightly oval triangular profile (trapezoidal shape) which our product has at both ends in order to massage the gums more effectively and gently.

Our product can also be used to clean from the back of the mouth right into the oral cavity, and the new, special triangular profile means that the invention effectively and gently massages and improves blood flow to the gums, and thereby reduces the risk of periodontal disease and other forms of dental decay.

With this invention we have produced a toothpick (dental cleaner) which is more effective than the known toothpicks on the market, and which enables the teeth to be cleaned more effectively, as well as a dental cleaner which is an effective tool in the. fight against plaque (tartar) and the prevention of periodontitis due to its oval triangular profile which massages the gums gently and effectively. It is a dental cleaner which is designed to take account of the space between the teeth since the shape of the dental cleaner with its hook means that it is possible to access the back of the oral cavity and thereby clean effectively between the teeth.

Novelty ! The novelty of this invention is that the dental cleaner is shaped as a trapezoid (the same shape that the teeth have at the gum line) so that it can easily get into the spaces between the teeth and thereby clean effectively, whilst at the same time the shape means that the gums are effectively massaged and stimulated.

An additional novelty of this invention is that the dental cleaner has a slight roughness which has the effect of removing and preventing dental tartar in an easy and straightforward manner.

A further novelty of this invention is that it is designed with a pointed tip which has a triangular profile at one end, and a hook with a slightly oval triangular profile at the other end, where the hook and the pointed tip have 2 different thicknesses such that the dental cleaner can be used both by people with narrow gaps between their teeth and people with slightly larger gaps between their teeth. In addition, the dental cleaner will not break.

Technical effect ! It is now possible to effectively clean the gap between the teeth without being irritated by the fact that the tip on the known products is of the same thickness. This has been taken into account in this product since the tip and the hook have 2 different thicknesses and lengths.

It is thereby easier to prevent the formation of dental tartar, in part due to the dental cleaner's roughness and the effect of this roughness which prevents the development of tartar, and it is easier to remove food debris for those who have only small gaps between their teeth.

The product is executed in environmentally-friendly plastic and finished in an oval shape which gives the product a pleasant feel, while taking into account optimum user- friendliness.
