Abstract:
The present invention provides an environmentally friendly cleaning apparatus and a cleaning method which significantly improve cleaning performance by cleaning for a short period of time and do not cause external pollution by installing a diesel particulate filter (DPF) to be cleaned by feeding a cleaning solution into a cleaning bath having a simple structure so as to be submerged in the cleaning solution, and injecting the cleaning solution and compressed air through an inlet and an outlet of the DPF while rotating the DPF in a state of being submerged in the cleaning solution which is liquid. In order to achieve the technical objective, the present invention provides a cleaning apparatus for a DPF, which comprises: a cleaning bath (10); a base plate (20); a rotating device (30); first and second nozzle rods (50, 60); and a control means (not shown). In the present invention, in order to be able to clean the DPF (1) while rotating the DPF (1) in a state of being submerged in the cleaning solution that is a medium having a high density, the present invention is further provided with a supporting means (40) for supporting the DPF (1) in the direction of an inlet (2) and an outlet (3) of the DPF such that the DPF (1) may be rotated without breaking away from a regular position, and in terms of the cleaning method, the cleaning solution (5) and the compressed air are injected together into the DPF (10), thereby reducing a cleaning time and improving cleaning performance.
