Abstract:
A cleaning area selection method and device. The method comprises: obtaining a second-choice area to be cleaned (S101); controlling a floor mopping robot to move one unit length in a first direction and determining whether the current position of the floor mopping robot is the second-choice area to be cleaned (S102); if not, controlling the floor mopping robot to move one unit length in a second direction and determining whether the current position of the floor mopping robot is the second-choice area to be cleaned (S103); if not, controlling the floor mopping robot to move two unit lengths in a third direction and determining whether the current position of the floor mopping robot is the second-choice area to be cleaned (S104); if not, controlling the floor mopping robot to move two unit lengths in a fourth direction and determining whether the current position of the floor mopping robot is the second-choice area to be cleaned (S105); and if the current position of the floor mopping robot is the second-choice area to be cleaned, carrying out the cleaning operation in the second-choice area to be cleaned (S106).
