Abstract:
A cleaning device and method for an edible bird's nest. The cleaning device comprises a power box (1) and a pair of vacuum tweezers (2); the power box (1) comprises a box body (3), a water pump (4), and a vacuum pump (5); the water pump (4) and the vacuum pump (5) are respectively provided in the box body (3); the pair of vacuum tweezers (2) comprises a first clamping piece (6) and a second clamping piece (7) which are matched with each other to achieve a clamping action; the first clamping piece (6) is connected to the water pump (4) by means of a water pipe; the second clamping piece (7) is connected to the vacuum pump (5) by means of a gas pipe (17); and the first clamping piece (6) and the second clamping piece (7) are respectively provided with a water outlet (8) and a suction port (9) which are oppositely provided. According to the cleaning device and method, the whole device uses the pair of vacuum tweezers (2) and the power box (1) that are connected to each other; the pair of vacuum tweezers (2) comprises the first clamping piece (6) for spraying water and the second clamping piece (7) for performing vacuum suctioning on impurities; in an impurity removal process, the first clamping piece (6) wets the edible bird's nest, the impurities are removed by means of tips (13) on pointed tip sleeves (12) of the first clamping piece (6) and the second clamping piece (7), and the impurities are suctioned away by means of the suction port (9), so that wetting and impurity removal are synchronously performed, production efficiency is effectively improved, production costs are reduced, and nutrient substances can be kept and prevented from losing.
