Abstract:
In the present invention, there is obtained a device for cleaning a moving-handrail-guiding rail of an escalator with which it is possible to improve the efficiency of an operation for cleaning a guide surface of a return-side portion of a moving-handrail-guiding rail. This device for cleaning a moving-handrail-guiding rail of an escalator comprises an attachment member that is attached to a moving handrail, and a cleaning member that is provided to the attachment member and that is disposed on the inner side of a handrail groove formed in the moving handrail. Due to the attachment member being attached to the moving handrail, the cleaning member contacts a guide surface of a return-side guide rail part in a moving-handrail-guiding rail that guides the moving handrail.
