Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for cleaning by spraying a cleaning liquid onto the reflective surface of a concave mirror like those used in solar thermal plants. The device is designed to be transported and moved by a tractor, to which it is connected by means of a frame, and comprises a parallelogram structure made up of two tubular elements hinged via the proximal end thereof to a support means, and hinged via the distal end thereof to individual telescopic extendable arms, each having a spray bar at the free end thereof. The device includes hydraulic cylinders for varying the position of the parallelogram structure, and hence of the extendable arms, and adjusting the extension of the arms to control the distance between the spray bars and the surface of the mirror, and the position of each bar relative to the associated arm.
