Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for cleaning at least one optical sensor for a motor vehicle, by spraying a cleaning liquid. The method comprises the following steps: - determining a value of at least one parameter indicative of the dirtiness in the field of view of the optical sensor, - comparing the determined value of said at least one parameter against the value of at least one predefined dirtiness threshold (S), - triggering at least one cleaning phase (100; 200) when the determined value of said at least one parameter is equal to or greater than the value of said at least one predefined dirtiness threshold (S), - heating (201) the cleaning liquid until a predefined temperature is reached, before after the triggering of said at least one cleaning phase, and - spraying (202) the cleaning liquid onto said at least one optical sensor during said at least one cleaning phase (200). The invention also relates to a corresponding cleaning system.
