Abstract:
A cleaning robot and a motion control method thereof. The cleaning robot comprises: cleaning elements for being in contact with and forming chambers with a surface to be cleaned; a suction module, which is in communication with the chambers and is used for drawing air in the chambers to form negative pressure, so that the cleaning elements can be sucked onto the surface to be cleaned; a driving module, which is connected to the cleaning elements and drives the cleaning elements to rotate around rotation axes perpendicular to the surface to be cleaned; a controller, which is coupled to and controls the suction module and the driving module; and a bridge frame, which is connected to a plurality of cleaning elements and the driving module. At least one of the cleaning elements is configured to deflect relative to the bridge frame, so that the rotation axis corresponding to the cleaning element can intersect with the rotation axis corresponding to another cleaning element to form an included angle. Compared with existing cleaning robots, the cleaning robot can adapt to a surface to be cleaned having a certain curvature, and thus can meet cleaning requirements of different materials and different degrees of dirtiness, thereby having a wider application range.
