Abstract:
A cleaning system and a cleaning device for a heat exchanger which remove deposits in the cooling water passage of a heat exchanger simply and inexpensively without using chemicals or ozone dissolving water, without compromise in environmental protection. A cleaning system for a heat exchanger (1) which removes deposits stuck to the cooling passage (3) of a heat exchanger (1) that uses sea water as a cooling water, wherein shell powder obtained by crushing various shells into particles of proper sizes is stored in a powder supply unit (30) and supplied to a cleaning agent producing unit (20) from the supply unit (30), shell powder and water are agitated in the cleaning agent producing unit (20) to produce a cleaning agent, the cleaning agent is supplied to the cooling water passage (3) by the cleaning agent supply unit (40), and the cleaning agent supplied to the passage (3) disloges deposits stuck to the passage (3) as it flows through the passage (3).
