Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a highly versatile cleaning tool for a wind instrument, the cleaning tool being able to wipe up water mixed with impurities adhering to the interior of a tube body of the wind instrument not only in the case of a linearly extending wind instrument but also in the case of a brass instrument including a U-shaped tube body. [Solution] A sliding means serving as a cleaning tool for a wind instrument is formed into a shaft body at least a front part of which is flexibly bendable, and is configured in such a manner that, when the front part of the shaft body hits a curved part of a U-shaped tube body, the front part changes the traveling direction thereof along the curved part to thereby be guided along the curved part of the U-shaped tube body, and thus even water adhering to the interior surface of the curved part can be wiped up. Moreover, regarding a wind instrument having a protruding part protruding into the tube body, even water adhering to the peripheral edge of a base end section of the protruding part can be wiped up by closely attaching a bag body serving as a means for wiping up water to a tube interior.
