Abstract:
A cleaning work device (10) equipped with a work area (30), a conveyor (25) in the work area, and a cleaning device (40). The work area (30) has an inlet (30a) provided on the upstream side in a transport path (P) for cells (C), and an outlet (30b) provided on the downstream side thereof, with a downflow air curtain (50) provided at least at the inlet (30a) and the outlet (30b). The conveyor (25) in the work area repeatedly performs an operation whereby a placement surface (25S) on which culture vessels (V) are placed enters the work area (30) from the inlet (30a) side and is moved outside of the work area (30) from the outlet (30b) side, and then is returned to the inlet (30a) side. The cleaning device (40) cleans the placement surface (25S) during the period from when the conveyor (25) in the work area has moved the placement surface (25S) outside of the work area (30) until the conveyor returns the placement surface to the inlet (30a) side of the work area (30).
