Abstract:
Provided is a coating composition capable of forming a coating film that has excellent coating film appearance and excellent antimicrobial and antiviral capabilities. This clear coating composition contains a silver-containing antimicrobial antiviral agent and a binder resin. The amount of silver that elutes when a cured coating film of the clear coating composition is immersed in water for 24 hours is 0.0008-0.003 mg/1L per 1 cm2 of the surface area of the cured coating film. The 20°-specular gloss of the cured coating film of the clear coating composition is 150 or more. The binder resin contains an anionic resin.
