This mounting structure of a clip (1) comprises a clip (1) and an attachment member (2) attached to a panel member by means of the clip (1). The clip (1) has an anchor part (10) and a pair of elastic claws (14a). The anchor part (10) is rotatably mounted on the attachment member (2) and is inserted into an elongate clip hole formed in the panel member. The pair of elastic claws (14a) is formed on the anchor part (10) and engages in the two long edges of the clip hole that face each other. From an attachment state in which the pair of elastic claws (14a) is engaged in the long edges of the clip hole, when the clip (1) is rotated approximately 90° relative to the clip hole, the pair of elastic claws (14a) disengages from the long edges. The attachment member (2) has a pair of ribs (36). The pair of ribs (36) limits the direction in which the clip (1) mounts on the attachment member (2) such that the pair of elastic claws (14a) of the clip (1) is oriented to engage with the long edges of the clip hole.
