CLOAKROOM TICKET
Field of the invention
The present invention relates to a cloakroom ticket comprising an opening for allowing the ticket to be held by a hanger.
Background of the invention
Cloakroom tickets are used for identifying outdoor clothes such as for instance coats and jackets at restaurants and theaters etc. The tickets are often used for advertising. However, if the advertisement needs to be replaced, this requires a complete new set of cloakroom tickets. Also, it is often desired to leave other items in a cloakroom, umbrellas, bags etc., this resulting in the person leaving clothes and other items in the cloakroom ending up with a set of cloakroom tickets.
Summary of the invention
It is an object of the present invention to provide a cloakroom ticket which can hold different types of extra information. This object is achieved by a cloakroom ticket according to claim 1.
According to the present invention, a cloakroom ticket comprises an opening for allowing the ticket to be held by a hanger and a transparent plastic pocket for retaining an exchangeable information sheet. The information could for instance be identification means, such as numbers or letters, advertising sheets, discount coupons etc. Preferably, the cloakroom ticket comprises some sort of identification means such as numbers. This will leave the transparent plastic pocket to be used for extra information.
In an alternative embodiment, the cloakroom ticket is a first transparent plastic pocket, for holding a traditional cloakroom ticket with identification means, having a second transparent plastic pocket for retaining a removable information sheet. It is thus possible to use traditional cloakroom tickets and put them in the first transparent plastic pocket and then put additional information in the second transparent plastic pocket. A further advantage is the manufacturing since it is easier to attach a plastic pocket to a cloakroom ticket of the same material. Also, traditional cloakroom tickets might be made from material not compatible with plastics, for instance, card board paper.
Thus, with this embodiment, it is possible to use card board cloakroom tickets by just inserting them into the first transparent plastic pocket such that the identification means, e.g. numbers, are visible through the pocket.
Short description of the drawing
The invention is explained below in more detail with references to the figures.
Figure 1 shows the back side of a cloakroom ticket according to an embodiment of the present invention. Figure 2 shows the front side of the cloakroom ticket in figure 1.
Figure 3 is an illustration of a further embodiment of the cloakroom ticket according to the present invention.
Description of exemplary embodiment of the invention Figure 1 shows the front side of a cloakroom ticket 1 with an opening 5 for a hanger (not shown) according to an embodiment of the present invention. Figure 2 shows the front side having a transparent plastic pocket 2 for an information sheet 3. The information sheet 3 could for instance be a discount coupon, advertisement etc. An alternative embodiment is shown in figure 3 in which the cloakroom ticket 1 itself is a transparent plastic pocket equipped with a second transparent plastic pocket 2. With this embodiment a traditional cloakroom ticket 4 is insertable in the first transparent plastic pocket, i.e. the cloakroom ticket 1. Thus, it is possible to use old traditional cloakroom tickets and supplement with the above described "double" transparent plastic pocket.
The foregoing is a disclosure of preferred embodiments for practicing the present invention. However, it is apparent that cloakroom ticket incorporating modifications and variations will be obvious to one skilled in the art. Inasmuch as the foregoing disclosure is intended to enable one skilled in the art to practice the instant invention, it should not be construed to be limited thereby, but should be construed to include such modifications and variations as fall within the scope of the claims.
