Abstract:
Provided is a clock generating apparatus which generates a recovered clock which is recovered from an edge of a receiving signal. The clock generating apparatus is provided with a recovered clock generating section which generates a recovered clock; a multistrobe generating section which generates, corresponding to the pulse of the recovered clock, a plurality of strobes having different phases; a detecting section which detects, based on the values of the receiving signals of the strobes in each timing, receiving signal edge positions for the strobes; and an adjusting section which adjusts, corresponding to the edge positions of the receiving signals, the phase of the recovered clock.
