Abstract:
In the present invention, a drain tank is reduced in size without lowering the effective drain recovery rate. A closed drain recovery system is provided with the following: a steam boiler (2); a sealed drain tank (4); a make-up water tank that is open to the air (7); a steam introduction line (10) for introducing the first flush steam in the drain tank (4) to the make-up water tank (7); a surplus drain introduction line (8) for introducing the surplus drain from the drain tank (4) to the make-up water tank (7); and condensing apparatuses (33, 39), disposed on the make-up water tank (7), that condense the first flush steam and/or the second flush steam produced by the surplus drain by bringing the steam into contact with the make-up water in the make-up water tank (7).
