Abstract:
This invention provides a closed magnetic circuit magnetic core formed of a nanocrystal alloy having high saturated magnetic field and high space factor, and a method for manufacturing the same. An amorphous alloy material having a composition represented by Fe100-a-b-cMaSibBc (atomic%) is wound to prepare a wound magnetic core. While applying a pressure of not less than 5 MPa and not more than 500 MPa to the circumferential side face of the wound magnetic core, the wound magnetic core is heat treated for nanocrystallization to manufacture a closed magnetic circuit magnetic core having a saturated magnetic field of not less than 200 A/m and a space factor of not less than 80%. The closed magnetic circuit magnetic core is preferably in a wound magnetic core form.
