Abstract:
A closed motor-driven compressor (10) wherein a rotary compression element (18) using CO¿2? as a refrigerant and driven by a motor element (14) and a rotary shaft (16) connected to the motor element (14) is disposed in a closed vessel (12) storing lubricating oil in the bottom, the lubricating oil being fed to the slide portions in bearings, in upper and lower eccentric portions (38, 40) provided on the rotary shaft (16), and in upper and lower rollers (42, 44), via an oil hole (60) formed in the rotary shaft (16), oil supply holes (62, 64) and spiral oil grooves (66, 68), the lubricating oil being polyalkylene glycol type oil (PAG oil) (82) with low solubility in CO¿2? and high viscosity. PAG oil is low in solubility in CO¿2? and is capable of suppressing the decrease of efficiency due to the decrease of oil viscosity and also suppressing the outflow of oil into piping, and an increase in input is prevented from occurring.
