Title:
CLOSED-TYPE HEAT PUMP WITH AIR CLEANER AND THE POSSIBILITY OF INSTALLING A SANITARY WATER HEATER
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/111199
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The invention contributes to the solution of the problem of polluted atmosphere air by adding an air cleaning function to the closed-type heat pump that can sterilize sanitary water at the same time. The closed-type heat pump is adapted to this end and consists of elements that effectively sterilize and clean the air and sterilize the sanitary water inside the water heater. Sterilization and purification are achieved through the installation of a transparent cone (74) with a UV light bulb (85) inside the upper cap (13) and the mesh filter (84), which is installed around the evaporator (1), lamellar permanent magnets (87) on the funnel cap (76) and multiple fans with motor (75), (79), (80), that ensure an optimal air-flow from the air intake on the upper cap (13) to its exhaust on the lower cap (6). The air is sterilized and purged in the heat pump by means of a UV light bulb (85) and permanent lamellar magnets (87), which give it an electrical charge, so that the smog and dust particles can stick on the mesh filter (84) and evaporator (1). The mesh filter (84) and the evaporator (1) is cleaned by the water by means of a ring with nozzles (4) on the telescopic tube (99), which extends from the top down along the inner water heater mantle (2). If a sterilization of the sanitary water is necessary, the water heater (2) must be transparent. The heat pump works like a sterilizer and an air cleaner, as well as a sanitary water sitter and sanitary water heater. These functions can be performed simultaneously or separately from the heating and cooling function.

Description:
CLOSED-TYPE HEAT PUMP WITH AIR CLEANER AND THE POSSIBILITY OF INSTALLING A SANITARY WATER HEATER

Subject of the invention

The subject of the invention is a closed-type heat pump with an air cleaner in which it is possible to install a water heater for sanitary water and thus acts as a single device comprising a heat pump, an air cleaner and a sanitary water heater. It is intended for indoor installation, but acts as an external conditioning system unit for heating and cooling indoor spaces, while it can also automatically sterilize and purify external and internal air from smog and dust particles and sterilizes sanitary water. Air can be sterilized and cleaned even when the device is not heating or cooling. Water can also be sterilized when the device is not heating or cooling. The subject of the invention is the upgrade of element C according to patent SI24409 and W02C114204412 of the same author. The function of sterilization and air purification is added by adding elements that enable such a function. A transparent sanitary water heater is added, and is illuminated by UV light bulb, thus preventing the development of bacteria and viruses in the system. If there is no need for sterilization of hot water, the device can be made without an UV light bulb and with a water heater mantle and with a funnel cap made from a non-transparent material. The water heater for sanitary water can be implemented independently without the function of heating and cooling of the indoor spaces.

The essence of the invention according to patent SI24409 and WO2014204412 is an autoregulation system for the heating or cooling of living spaces that is enclosed, which means that the same air, the same water and the same gas circulate in it. The subject of the present invention is a closed heat pump with a built-in water heater for sanitary water and components that allow one to sterilize and clean the air and sterilize the sanitary water where the air circulating in the system is not always the same. The air flows into the system from the atmosphere or the indoor space where the device is fitted. The air is sterilized through UV light and cleansed through magnetic lamellas, an evaporator, a mesh filter and with water through ring with nozzles mounted on telescopic tube. Technical problem

The invention solves the problem of polluted air, especially in places with heavy air pollution and can sterilize water at the same time. The technical problem solved by the invention is how to design a closed-type heat pump so that, in addition to its basic function of heating and cooling, it is possible to sterilize and clean air and to sterilize the sanitary water in the water heater by adding elements to heat pump (and connect them interactively), which enables for sterilization and cleaning of external and internal air and the sterilization of the sanitary water in the water heater. Specifically the fans, the UV bulb and the lamellar permanent magnets or electronic magnets, the mesh filters and the ring with nozzles mounted on telescopic tube.

State of the art

There are some combinations of heat pumps with a cleaning device e.g. the inventions according to patent applications EP2594684 or CN203765325, which relate to the treatment of waste water and not to sanitary water and air.

There are also indoor air conditioning units that have filters for cleaning indoor air with ultrasound, negative ions, and the like. These solutions have been known for some time and are also available on the market. However, there is no closed-type heat pump intended to be installed indoors, which would sterilize and clean the outdoor and indoor air and sterilize the sanitary water in the water heater.

The solution to the technical problem

A closed-type heat pump with an air cleaner and a built-in hot water heater is designed in such a way as to act as a filter, air cleaner that sterilizes the outdoor and indoor air, cleans smog and dust particles and sterilizes the sanitary water in the water heater. This allows for excellent air flow through the evaporator and mesh filter, which can be made from various materials, coated with nanoparticles based on titanium oxide, which, combined with UV light, enables the removal of harmful smog and impure particles in the air.

The embodiment of the invention is illustrated in the figures showing: Fig. 1 : closed-type heat pump with air cleaner and built-in water heater, Fig. 2: close-up of the shaft with other parts in the heat pump evaporator center. The following reference numbers define the elements of the invention:

Figure 1 shows a closed-type heat pump with a water heater of sanitary water with sterilization and air cleaning functions, and a sanitary water sterilization function. It consists of the evaporator 1 , the water heater mantle 2, the lower cap 6, the upper cap 13 and the housing 31 in which the compressor 30 and the lamellar heat exchanger 15 are located. The lamellar heat exchanger 15 circulates water through the water inlet and outlet 51 into the heating or cooling elements of the living spaces (e.g. radiators and convectors) and temporarily through the spiral 94 for heating sanitary water in the water heater, through the hot water inlet 95 and the hot water outlet 96 through the bottom of the lower cap 6. The water heater receives water from the water supply network through the inlet 92 and sends hot water through the hot sanitary water outlet 93 which is passed through the wall of the lower cap 6. The water heater mantle 2 must be transparent (e.g. glass) to allow the UV rays from UV light bulb 85 to pass into the sanitary water. These UV rays sterilize the water. The sanitary water in the water heater can also be heated by an electric heater 98 if the heat pump has not been operating for a long time and the living spaces and sanitary water are cooled (e.g. after a long absence). The electric heater 98 is mounted throughout the interior perimeter the lower part of the water heater.

The water heater mantle 2 with O-rings 82 is mounted on the lower cap 6 with the seal 83. The funnel cap 76 is mounted on the water heater mantle 2 and the upper cap 13 is mounted on the funnel cap 76 with the seal 83. The sealing of the water heater is ensured by the nuts 97 on the shaft 81 through the rod-like supports 77 on the funnel cap 76 above and the lower cap 6 below, and with the O-rings 82 and the seal 83.

The water heater mantle 2 has a double wall (it has an inner and an outer wall), inside which there is an empty space that can be filled with argon or krypton gas, or vacuum, to ensure thermal and acoustic insulation. The upper cap 13 is cone shaped and has a double wall with the same purpose. In the upper cap 13, the transparent cone 74 with grooves 86 on the outside is placed on the brackets and spacers 73. At the top of the transparent cone's interior 74 there is an UV light bulb 85. The inner wall of the upper cap 13 has a UV reflective coating.

The transparent cone 74 is positioned at a distance from inner wall of the upper cap 13 that allows the air to travel freely inside the heat pump. The air enters the system at the top of the upper cap 13 via a tube which is drawn to the air extraction (air vent, ventilation system, chimney etc. can be used), then travels between the outer wall of the transparent cone 74 and the inner wall of the upper cap 3 on the blades of the fan with motor 75 which pushed it forward past the lamellar magnets 87 located on the funnel cap 76 into the center of the evaporator 1 from here is pushed by the fan with motor 79 through the evaporator 1 and through the mesh filter 84 to the wall of the water heater 2, and then the air travels in the lower cap 6. Here, the fan with motor 80 propels it on into the outlet pipes that lead into the atmosphere. If desired, this purified air can be redirected to the living quarters for a period of time.

The arrows in Figure 1 show the air travel through the device. When the air from the atmosphere enters the upper cap 13, the light of the UV light bulb 85 sterilizes it, the permanent lamellar magnets 87 (an implementation with electromagnets is also possible) on the funnel cap 76 change its electric charge, so that the smog and dust particles can more easily adhere to the mesh filter 84. The mesh filter 84 can be made from various materials and coated titanium oxide nanoparticles. The mesh filter 84 and the evaporator 1 can be washed with water from the nozzles on ring with nozzles 4, attached on the telescopic tube 99, which, during the cleaning function, travels from the top downwards along the inner coating of the water heater 2.

The evaporator 1 and the mesh filter 84 surrounding it lie on rod-like supports 77. In the lower cap 6 the bottom cone 88 lies on the rod-like supports 77. The bottom cone 88 closes the air flow in the middle and directs it to the lower cap 6.

The evaporator 1 can be divided into two or three parts, which together form the entire mantle of the evaporator. The evaporator 1 has lamellas installed at a certain angle due to the rotation of the air. On the shaft 81 , there are three fans with motor 75, 79 and 80 that can rotate individually, which ensures a good airflow through the evaporator 1 , lamellas and the mesh filter 84.

The bearing 78 of the fan with motor 79 is mounted on the shaft 81.

The device according to the invention can simultaneously carry out all three functions (heating and cooling of rooms, air cleaning and sterilization, and sterilization of sanitary water). These functions can also be performed separately. The device can therefore be used only as an air cleaner and sterilizer, without simultaneously performing the function of heating and cooling of indoor spaces, or it can also be used only for sterilization and heating of sanitary water.
