Abstract:
A system which facilitates the two closet covers to move independently from each other through a spring system fixed to the connecting point of the closet cover located on the main body (stoneware closet body), and otherwise, which facilitates the two covers to remain in open or closed position on the main body. The spring which is located at the point of rotation of the upper and lower covers moves with the lower cover upwards when the upper cover is opened, and when the lower cover is pushed down, the upper cover remains at its position, and then the lower cover again moves up and joins with the upper cover. However, if the upper cover is pushed down, it moves with the lower cover and closes the main body.

Claims:
CLAIMS
1. Closet cover with automatic closure, characterized by the connection points of the lower and upper covers of the closet being placed corresponding to each other. (Figure 10) shows the sequence of the installation procedure. According to this drawing, the lower and upper covers of the closet are placed so that the connection points are facing each other. Then the intermediate connection element pin of (Figure 4) is placed within the connection points, according to (Figure 11). Then the spring in (Figure 5) is connected to the connection element of (Figure 6), according to (Figure 7). The connection element with spring is placed into the intermediate connection pin, according to (Figure 12). Then the screw connection element (Figure 13) is inserted to the lower part of the connection element with spring, according to (Figure 8). Finally, the butterfly nut of (Figure 9) is coupled to the connection element with screw, according to (Figure 1314). This installation procedure is applied to the connection points on the right, as well as the left side, and when the installation is completed, the closet cover is ready to operate, as illustrated in (Figure 15).
2. A closet cover with automatic closure according to Claim 1, wherein the lower cover automatically moves upwards and by joining with the upper cover on the main body, remains stable in the upper position, as illustrated in (Figure 2), with the help of a spring system which is connected to the connection element of (Figure 7) through the connection elements on the connection points of the closet cover.
3. A closet cover with automatic closure according to Claim 1, wherein the lower cover moves together with the upper cover upon lifting the upper cover and joins the upper cover and stays in closed position, with the help of a spring system connected to the connection element, as illustrated in (Figure 7), on the connection points of the closet cover, which is in closed position with the lower and upper covers in horizontal position, as illustrated in (Figure 1).
4. A closet cover with automatic closure according to Claim 1, wherein in a situation where the lower and upper covers are joined together on the main body (main body completely open), the lower cover moves together with the upper cover, when the upper cover is closed, and completely covers the main body, as illustrated in (Figure 1).
5. A closet cover with automatic closure according to Claim 1, wherein resilience of the steel spring which is the driving force, as illustrated in (Figure 5) is directly proportional with the raw material of the closet cover. In other words, when the weight of the closet cover is increased, the thickness of the spring wire, and accordingly its resilience and tension must also be increased.
6. A closet cover with automatic closure according to Claim 1, wherein the screw connection element in (Figure 8), which is inserted to the lower part of the spring connection element of the closet cover, as illustrated in (Figure 6) is hinged, and can be installed to all stoneware closet bodies, built in conformity with the standards.
Description:
DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION CLOSET COVER WITH AUTOMATIC CLOSURE This invention is related to automatic closure of the lower cover together with the upper cover, with the help of a spring system placed to hinge joints of the closet covers.

The currently used type of closet covers consist of the installation of the intermediate connection elements of the lower and upper covers to the hinge joint of the covers, on the main body (stoneware closet body).

In this system, both covers are opened and closed from the same point, in a circular way and independentty from each other, with a force applied from outside. When both covers are closed such that they are moved from the vertical position to a horizontal position on the main body, the main body becomes closed and becomes non-visible. When the upper cover is opened, the lower cover stays on the main body, whereas the main body is on the foreground when both covers are opened.

This type of closet covers are still being used. The common problem encountered with the closet covers in this system is that both covers are opened independently, by a force applied extemally. In this case, when the upper cover is opened, the lower cover remains "open"on the closet body, and contamination can not be prevented. This is the mode of function of the current closet covers.

However, the desired working system is, when the lower cover is in horizontal and upper cover in the vertical position on the main body (the closet cover is open), in situations where no extemal force is applied, that both covers are closed on the main body. In other words, when both covers (upper and lower) are closed on the main body (horizontal position), when lifting the upper cover, the lower cover shall move together, and when pushing down the lower cover, the upper cover shall remain stable in the vertical position, and the lower cover shall automatically retum towards the upper cover with a spring system and after joining the upper cover, remain stable in the vertical position. If desired, by only applying force to the upper cover, both covers can be closed on the main body.

The objects and other advantages of the present invention are described in detail in the following pages and the attached drawings, which have been incorporated for purposes of reference, but are not of limiting nature.

Brief description of the drawings : Figure 1-is the lateral and frontal view of the closet cover on the main body, in closed position; Figure 2-is the closet cover on the main body with the upper and lower covers in the upper, i. e. vertical position.

Figure 3-shows the closet cover with the upper cover fixed in its position and the lower cover moving upwards via the spring system ; Figure 4-is the hollow, cylindrical plastic intermediate connection pin which is placed to

the connection point of the two closet covers; Figure 5-is the stainless steel spring which provides the movement. According to this drawing: 1. Lateral view 2. (Figure 10) shows the installation sequence. According to this drawing, the lower and upper covers of the closet are placed so that the connection points are facing each other.

Then the intermediate connection element pin of (Figure 4) is placed within the connection points, according to (Figure 11). Then the spring in (Figure 5) is connected to the connection element of (Figure 6), according to (Figure 7). The connection element with spring is placed into the intermediate connection pin, according to (Figure 12). Then the screw connection element (Figure 13) is inserted to the connection element with spring, according to (Figure 8). Finally, the butterfly nut of (Figure 9) is coupled to the connection element with screw, according to (Figure 13-14). This installation procedure is applied to the connection points on the right, as well as the left side, and when the installation is completed, the closet cover is ready to operate, as illustrated in (Figure 15).

Installation to the main body (stoneware closet body) is performed by removing the butterfly nut on the screw connection element which is inserted to the screw connection element in (Figure 13), and the screw connection element is pushed through the installation holes on the main body, and fixed from below with the butterfly nut.

Accordingly, the object of the present invention is providing a simple and inexpensive

equipment which will ensure the lower cover to return to its closed position with the upper cover in an efficient way.

The resilience of the spring which is placed to the connection points of the lower cover is directly proportional with the raw material of the closet cover. The heavier the cover is, the more the thickness of the spring wire, and consequently its resilience and tension must be increased.

The screw connection element which is inserted to the lower part of the spring connection element of the closet cover is hinged, and can be installe to all stoneware closet bodies, built in conformity with the standards.
