Abstract:
A closing machine (1) for closing a workpiece (9) by pressing a heated die (4) against the workpiece (9) rotated. The closing machine (1) has an air purge box (510) opened near and facing the workpiece (9) and an air feeding means for feeding air to the air purge box (510). Sensors (501, 502) for detecting a state of the workpiece (9) or the die (4) are arranged inside the air purge box (510).
