Abstract:
A closing machine having left and right chuck spindles (20) for rotatingly driving a workpiece (9), a chuck spindle movement device (30) for moving each chuck spindle (20) in a horizontal direction orthogonal to the rotation axis (O20) of the chuck spindle (20), and left and right slide stoppers (34) for restricting the movement of the individual chuck spindles (20). The workpiece (9) is loaded in each chuck spindle (20), the chuck spindles (20) are moved by the chuck spindle movement device (30), and the movement of each chuck spindle (20) is stopped by each slide stopper (34). In closing, the rotation axis (O20) of a chuck spindle (20) and the rotation axis (O4) of a die (4) have an offset amount (S) in the horizontal direction.
