Abstract:
A closure cap for a container, such as a bottle (38, 112), containing carbonized liquid, such as a beverage, including a depending skirt (12, 24, 44, 80) open at one end (48, 84) and closed at its opposite end by way of a disc (14, 26, 46, 82), the skirt (12, 24, 44, 80) being provided with a formation (20, 36, 50, 86), such as an internal screw thread, for attachment to a neck of a container (38, 112) is disclosed. A spraying nozzle (16, 18, 58, 94) having a flow passage (28, 32, 74, 56, 96, 98, 100, 92) is associated with the disc (14, 26, 46, 82) for spraying liquid from a container (38, 112) containing carbonized beverage or liquid for use as a fire extinguishing device.
