Description:
Closure of the frontal surface of the modular styrofoam hollow brick The subject of the present invention is the closure of the frontal surface of the modular styrofoam hollow brick, constituting non-reusable framework.

In the hollow bricks known to date the frontal walls constituted an integral part together with the lateral walls of the bricks, having definite length. In case construction required the use of a shorter hollow brick, after having cut the brick to obtain the length desired, separate planking had to be executed in order to ensure a smooth frontal surface of the wall.

Solution conform to the present invention avoids this inconvenience.

The inventioned closure of the frontal surface of the modular styrofoam hollow brick, equipped with the tee ways along the inner surfaces, distanced by the horizontal module length, as well as the rectangular lateral styrofoam batten plates, whose width increases archwise at the corners, distanced by five module lengths, is composed of the elements closing the hollow brick in the plane of arbitrary module, and, depending upon the location at which the brick is cut, has either the shape of a drawer-like element of a rectangular outline, or, when the brick is cut at the symmetry plane of the batten plate, the closing element is bipartite, constituted of two plugs: the lower, bottom plug and the higher, top plug, with the curved corners, their outer shape constituting the complement of the shape of the styrofoam batten plate to the shape of the complete rectangle, and each of the closing elements is equipped with the grooves whose shape corresponds to the protrusions on the inner surfaces of the brick, while the upper and lower walls are equipped with the modular tongue and groove joint elements.

The closure of the frontal surface of the modular styrofoam hollow brick according to the present invention has many advantages, including the facility of adapting the length of the brick to a given structure, alld the facility of closing the brick cut across at arbitrary point without any additional technological equipment.

The subject of the invention is shown in the exhibit attached, in which Fig. 1 shows the view of the hollow brick from above, with the styrofoam batten plates, Fig.2 - the lateral view of the hollow brick from the end surface, with the styrofoam batten plates, Fig.3 - the general view of the drawer-like element, Fig.4 - the view from the top of the drawer-like element, Fig.5 - the lateral view of the drawer-like element, Fig.6 - the general view of the lower, bottom plug, Fig.7 - the view from the top of the lower, bottom plug, Fig.8 - the lateral view of the same plug, Fig.9 - the general view of the higher, upper plug, Fig. 10 - the view from the top of the higher, upper plug, and Fig. 11 - the lateral view of this plug.

In accordance with notations used in the figures the closure of the frontal surface of the modular styrofoam hollow brick, having tee ways 1 along the inner surfaces, distanced by the horizontal module M, and the lateral styrofoam batten plates 2 of rectangular shape, whose width increases at the corenrs along bow-like curves 3, distanced by the length of five modules M, is composed of the elements closing the hollow brick in the plane of arbitrary module. Depending upon the point of section of the brick the closing element has the shape of a drawer-like element 4 of a rectangular outline, or, when the section is located in the symmetry plane of the batten plate 2 the closing element is composed of two parts, namely the rectangular bottom plug 5 and the higher upper plug 6. Both these plugs have two rounded corners each, and the outer shape of these plugs constitutes the complement to the shape of the styrofoam batten plate 2 completing the rectangle.

On the lateral walls of the closing elements 5 and 6 grooves are located whose shape corresponds to the ledges 1 on the inner surfaces of the hollow brick. The upper and lower walls of the closing elements 4 5 and 6 are equipped with the elements of a tongue and groove modular joint.
