Abstract:
This clothes dryer (20) is provided with: a housing (21) having an opening (22) formed in the front face thereof, the opening (22) allowing an object to be dried to be inserted and extracted therethrough; a door (24) for closing the opening (22); and an operating section (25) disposed on the upper part of the front face of the housing (21). The clothes dryer (20) is also provided with: a rotating drum (23) for receiving the object to be dried; and a warm air generation device disposed below the rotating drum (23) and generating warm air blown into the rotating drum. The center of the opening (22) is substantially located on the rotation axis of the rotating drum (23), and the opening (22) has a substantially square shape.
