A clothes dryer, comprising: an accommodating drum (5) for accommodating laundry (L); a circulation loop (20) provided with a take-out port (20D) and a return port (20E) which are connected to the accommodating drum (5); an air supply portion (21), by means of which air in the accommodating drum (5) is taken into the circulation loop (20) via the take-out port (20D) and is returned to the accommodating drum (5) via the return port (20E) so as to circulate the air; a heating portion (22) for heating the air in the circulation loop (20); and a dehumidifying device (23) for dehumidifying the air flowing through the circulation loop (20). The dehumidifying device (23) comprises: a charging portion (24) for charging moisture contained in the air flowing through the circulation loop (20); a collection portion (25) for collecting the moisture that passes through the charging portion (24) and is then charged; and a discharge loop (26), by means of which the moisture collected by the collection portion (25) is discharged from the circulation loop (20).
