Abstract:
A washing machine (100) which is an example of a clothing processing device according to the present disclosure comprises: a water tub in which clothing is to be accommodated; a tank; an automatic introduction unit; and a control device. The tank stores a processing agent that is to be introduced into the tub during operation. The automatic introduction unit introduces into the tub the processing agent which is stored in the tank. The control device has a processing agent change detection unit that detects, on the basis of a change in remaining amount of the processing agent stored in the tank, that the processing agent stored in the tank has been changed.
