Abstract:
Disclosed is a clothing treatment apparatus. The clothing treatment apparatus disclosed herein comprises: a cabinet; a tub arranged in the cabinet; and a damper which supports the tub, wherein the damper comprises: a housing; a piston provided in the housing to be movable; a core arranged in the housing and comprising a yoke and teeth extending from the yoke toward the piston; a coil wound on the core; and a magnetorheological elastomer which is arranged between the piston and the core and has the rigidity that can be changed by a magnetic field.
