Abstract:
The present invention relates to a clothing treatment apparatus and, more particularly, to a clothing treatment apparatus having a camera, and a control method therefor. According to one embodiment of the present invention, provided is a washing machine comprising: a camera which is provided on a case or a door and which generates time-series images by photographing fabric inside a drum; a motor for driving the drum in order to treat the fabric; a wash water injection assembly including a circulation flow path, a circulation pump, which pumps wash water stored in a tub so as to guide the pumped wash water through the circulation flow path, and an injection nozzle provided at the distal end of the circulation flow path so as to inject the pumped wash water into the drum; and a processor for controlling the operation of the motor and the activation of the wash water injection assembly in order to wash or rinse the fabric, wherein the processor identifies a distribution aspect of the fabric in the front and rear spaces of the drum through the time-series images when the drum is rotated, and controls the operation of the wash water injection assembly in one of a plurality of provided injection modes according to the distribution aspect of the fabric.
