Abstract:
The present invention relates to a clothing treatment device and, more particularly, to a clothing treatment device having a camera, and a control method therefor. According to one embodiment of the present invention, provided is a control method for a washing machine, comprising, in order to perform washing or rinsing, a clothes movement step of driving a drum or a pulsator that forms a water stream so that wash water and clothes move in the drum, a step of generating, in the clothes movement step, a time-series image for clothes movement by photographing the inside of the drum through a camera, a step of identifying the current movement state of the clothes through the time-series image, a step of supplying additional water by driving a water supply valve according to the flow state of the clothes, and a step of performing washing or rinsing by driving the drum or pulsator after the supply of additional water.
