Abstract:
Embodiments of the present application relate to the technical field of the Internet. Disclosed are a cloud desktop image processing method and apparatus, a server and a storage medium. The method comprises: storing image data of a cloud desktop in a shared texture, the shared texture being a texture having a shared attribute; encoding the image data stored in the shared texture to obtain encoded image data; and sending the encoded image data to a terminal. According to the present application, after the image data of the cloud desktop is acquired, the image data is stored in the shared texture which can be accessed by different threads, and the image data stored in the shared texture can be directly encoded. Thus, the image data of the cloud desktop does not need to be transmitted multiple times between an internal memory and a video memory. Hence, the present application can improve the efficiency of encoding the image data, and can reduce the delay of acquiring the image data of the cloud desktop by the terminal.
