Abstract:
An electric motor (20) is provided to a housing (12) and can output a torque through current supply. A speed reducer (30) can reduce and output the torque from the electric motor (20). A torque cam (2) converts a rotary motion generated by the torque from the speed reducer (30) to a translational motion that is a relative movement with respect to the housing (12) in the axial direction and can change the state of a clutch (70) to an engagement state or a disengagement state. The housing (12) has: an inside housing (6) including a housing inner tube portion (121) in a tubular shape; and an outside housing (7) including a housing outer tube portion (123) in a tubular shape provided on the radially outer side of the housing inner tube portion (121). The inner-side housing (6) and the outer-side housing (7) are formed separately from each other and joined to each other so as to form therebetween an annular accommodation space (120) that can accommodate at least the electric motor (20).
