Abstract:
The clutch device of an embodiment comprises, for example: a first member; a second member provided movable between a first position at which torque is transmitted to the second member by friction between the second member and the first member and a second position which is located farther from the first member than the first position and at which torque is not transmitted to the second member; a third member for changing the position of the second member; a variably settable section disposed between the second member and the third member and having a changeable axial length; and a cover for covering the variably settable section. The variably settable section has a fourth member and a fifth member. The cover has a stopper section for supporting the fifth member in the axial direction, thereby limiting the movement of the fifth member to one side in the axial direction.
