Abstract:
Torque from a motor (20) is input into a sun gear (31). A planetary gear (32) is capable of revolving in the circumferential direction of the sun gear (31), while spinning while meshed with the sun gear (31). A carrier (33) is formed in an annular shape, rotatably supports the planetary gear (32), and is capable of rotating relative to the sun gear (31). A first ring gear (34) is fixed to a housing (12) and is capable of engaging with the planetary gear (32). A second ring gear (35) is capable of engaging with the planetary gear (32), is formed to have a different number of tooth portions from the first ring gear (34), and outputs torque to a rotating portion (40). The sun gear (31) is provided in such a way that at least a portion thereof in the axial direction is positioned radially inward of the carrier (33). The first ring gear (34) and the second ring gear (35) are each provided in such a way that at least a portion thereof in the axial direction is positioned radially outward of the carrier (33).
