Abstract:
A clutch piston having a piston that moves reciprocally inside a piston chamber into which oil flows, and a seal member for sealing the oil inside the piston chamber. The seal member has a base portion attached to an end portion of the piston, and a seal lip that slides along a wall surface of the piston chamber when the piston moves reciprocally. The end portion of the piston extends in a direction intersecting the wall surface. The end portion has a rear surface arranged at a rear side of the piston chamber, and a front surface arranged at a front side of the piston chamber. The front surface has a recessed surface to which the base portion of the seal member is attached, a protruding surface arranged closer to the front side of the piston chamber than the recessed surface, and an inclined surface that is inclined with respect to the recessed surface and the protruding surface and connects the recessed surface and the protruding surface.
