Abstract:
This self-aligning clutch release bearing device, with consideration to the fiber flow of a steel plate forming a side plate (3), has a notch section (3d) provided in the side plate (3) at a position where the fiber flow of the steel plate forming the side plate (3d) intersects an imaginary line connecting the notch section (3d) and the center (O) of an inner diameter section (3d). By virtue of this configuration, it is possible to prevent a crack from easily occurring from the position of the notch section (3d) even when a flange section (3c) is formed by a burring process on the side plate (3) having been subjected to a punching process, and thus the strength and the processing yield of side plates can be improved.
