Abstract:
Provided is a clutch of which the length in the axial direction can be reduced. A clutch (10) is provided with a selection device (90) that selects connection of a first member (30) and a second member (60) to a hub (20). In the first member (30), a first hole (32) is formed in a surface opposing the hub (20), and a first engagement element (40) is disposed in the first hole (32). In the second member (60), a second hole (62) is formed in a surface opposing the hub (20), and a second engagement element (70) is disposed in the second hole (62). The hub (20) is provided with: a first surface (21) where a third hole (22), with which the first engagement element (40) is engaged, is formed; and a second surface (25) where a fourth hole (26), with which the second engagement element (70) is engaged, is formed. The selection device (90) is provided with: a first selector (97) that is disposed between the hub (20) and the second member (60); a second selector (101) that is disposed between the hub (20) and the first member (30); and a fork member (92) that moves the first selector (97) and the second selector (101) in the axial direction.
