Abstract:
The invention refers to a band cutting CNC machine for cutting metal in all plane directions. The machine consists of body with bank to which are attached lower and upper band guide wheel, encompassed by endless band-saw, defining band cutting mechanism so that the bank embodies a compound rest slide (2) with slide board (3) that can move along the axis 'X' an the axis 'Y' in the horizontal plane and the band cutting mechanism (4) can rotate along the axis A that coincides with the axis of the cutting tooth (5) in the vertical plane at angle greater than 180°, so that the cutting band (6) is twisted towards the plane of the guide wheels (7) at an appropriate angle so that cutting is carried out in the directions +X and -X and +Y and -Y of the part, that is cantilever placed on the slide desk , and simultaneously the working zone is asymmetric.

CLAIMS
1. Band cutting CNC operated machine for cutting metal in all plane directions, consisting of body with bank to which are attached lower and upper band guide wheels, encompassed by endless bandsaw defining band cutting mechanism, C h a ra cte rl ze d t h e re i n, That the bank is compound rest slide (2) with slide desk (3) that can move along the axis"X"and"Y"in the horizontal plane, and the band cutting mechanism (4) can rotate along the axis A, that coincides with the axis of the cutting tooth (5) in the vertical plane at an angle greater than 180°, and the cutting band (6) is twisted towards the plane of the guide wheels (7) at the corresponding angle so that cutting is carried out in directions +X andX and +Y andY of the part, that is cantilever placed on the slide desk, and simultaneously the working zone is asymmetric.
2. Band cutting CNC controlled machine as claimed in claim 1 Characterized therein, That the cutting band (6) is twisted towards the plane of the guide wheels (7) at an angle within the range from 25° to 35°.

Description:
CNC BAND-SAW FOR CUTTING METALS IN ALL DIRECTIONS OF A PLANE The present invention refers to a band-saw cutting CNC machine for cutting off metal in all plane directions and shall find application in metal working and especially in metal cutting.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION A band-saw-cutting machine is known, that consists of body with bank to which an upper and lower band guide wheels are mounted. The guide wheels are encompassed by an endless band-saw with band guides. The lower band guide wheel is mounted to the electric motor shaft, which support is attached to a lever that rotates around an axis.

(1) Disadvantage of the known machine is the restriction of the possible cutting directions.

PURPOSE OF THE INVENTION The purpose of the invention is to create a machine for cutting metal in all plane directions and with a simple design.

The purpose of the invention is realized by means of CNC band-saw cutting machine for cutting of pouring gate systems in one or more castings or in planes with complex configuration. The complex space arrangement of the gates in metal moulds, respectively on the produced castings and the restriction of cutting only in direction against the band-saw tooth (along its plane) define the following design of the machine: body with bank, to which body are attached upper and lower band guide wheels, encompassed by an endless band-saw, defining the band cutting mechanism, and according to the invention the bank embodies a compound rest slide with slide board that moves along the "X"and"Y"axes of the horizontal plane, and the band cutting mechanism can rotate around axis A that coincides with the axis of the cutting edge in the vertical plane at an angle greater than 180° and the cutting band is twisted towards the guide wheels plane at respective angle so that cutting is carried out in directions +X and-X and +Y and - Y of the part, that is cantilever fastened on the slide desk, and simultaneously the working zone is asymmetric.

The cutting band of the band cutting mechanism is twisted towards the plane of the guide wheels at an angle within 25° and 35° and especially at an angle of 30°.

The cutting mechanism rotation around the cutting tooth axis has the following advantages: 1. As far as part rotation is concerned-it allows cutting of castings complex space arrangements, combined with simple machine design and higher technological indicators.

2. As far as band cutting mechanism rotation around axis perpendicular to the band plane is concerned-it allows cutting in all plane directions in one plane.

DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS Fig 1 shows the principal scheme of the machine according to the invention.

DESCRIPTION OF THE EMBODIMENTS According to the figure enclosed, the machine consists of body (1) comprising of welded structure with mounted compound rest slide (2) with slide desk (3) that can move along the axis"X"and axis"Y"of the horizontal plane and band cutting mechanism (4) that can rotate along the axis A that coincides with the axis of cutting tooth (5) in the vertical plane at angle greater than 180°. The cutting band (6) is twisted at appropriate angle towards the plane of the guide wheels so that cutting is carried out in directions +X and-X and +Y and-Y of the part, that is cantilever placed on the slide desk and simultaneously the working zone is asymmetric The cutting band (6) is twisted towards the plane of the guide heels (7) at an angle within 25° up to 35° and especially at an angle of 30°.

The movement of the compound rest slide (2) with slide desk (3) is carried out by means of feeding mechanism along the axis"X"and axis"Y', said mechanism consists of feeding motors and ball-screw.

The driving of the band cutting mechanism (4) supporting the cutting band (6) is carried out by an induction motor with asynchronous frequency control. In this way is created different cutting speed, that in combination with appropriately selected band allows optimal cutting of different materials.

The driving of the band cutting mechanism (4) along the axis A, that coincides with the axis of the cutting tooth (5) in the vertical plane is carried out by the driving mechanism consisting of gapiess worm reducer driven by feeding mechanism that allows the band cutting mechanism (4) angle rotation of more than 180°.

The electric drive and the control are software backed so that the simultaneous feed along the axis"X"and"Y"is carried out and it moves the part to be cut always in direction perpendicular to the cutting band plane (against the teeth) depending on of the band cutting mechanism angle of rotation around axis A.

APPLICATION OF THE INVENTION The part is put on slide desk (3) that moves it along the axis"X"and "Y"in the horizontal plane. Cutting in the diverse directions of the horizontal plane is carried out by means of rotating the band cutting mechanism (4) around the face of the cutting tooth (5) (axis A on fig. 1) in the vertical plane.
