Abstract:
The present invention is a co-polyester resin which contains a dicarboxylic acid component and a glycol component as the main constituent components; which satisfies such a requirement (1) that the co-polyester resin contains a flange carboxylic acid component in an amount of 10 mol% or more, and also contains at least one component selected from the group consisting of a linear aliphatic dicarboxylic acid having 5 to 12 carbon atoms (X) and a linear aliphatic glycol having 5 to 12 carbon atoms (Y) in the total amount (X+Y) of 25 mol% or more and/or such a requirement (2) that the co-polyester resin contains a flange carboxylic acid component in an amount of 80 mol% or more, also contains an aliphatic glycol having a side chain and having 4 to 9 carbon atoms (Y') in an amount of 30 mol% or more, and also contains at least one component selected from the group consisting of a linear aliphatic dicarboxylic acid having 5 to 12 carbon atoms (X) and a linear aliphatic glycol having 5 to 12 carbon atoms (Y) in the total amount (X+Y) of 25 mol% or less; and which exhibits excellent solubility in solvents and adhesiveness.
