Abstract:
The coal deactivation apparatus (100) is configured by providing: a separating device (117) that separates out a portion of the beneficiated coal (2) deactivated in the main treatment apparatus (111); a main evaluation apparatus (121) into which the sample (3) of the beneficiated coal (2) separated out by the separating apparatus (117) is supplied; a blower (122) and heater (123) that supply air (102) at the evaluation temperature (Tt) to the main evaluation apparatus (121); a temperature sensor (125) that detects the temperature (Te) of the air (102) that has heat-treated the sample (3) in the main evaluation apparatus (121); and a control unit (130) that, when the temperature (Te) of the air (102) is at or below the lower limit (Tel) on the basis of information from the temperature sensor (125), determines whether or not the temperature (Tc) of the process gas (103) is at or below the lower limit (Tl) and if the process gas temperature exceeds the lower limit (Tl), controls the heater (114) to reduce the temperature (Tc) of the process gas (103) by a prescribed value (Tfd).
