Abstract:
Provided are a coal selection assistance system and a coal selection assistance program that are capable of, by using data that is more specific and less in volume than what has been used conventionally, assisting in selecting multiple types of coal to be mixed and in setting the mixture ratio of the multiple types of coal. When multiple types of coal to be mixed and the mixing ratio thereof are provisionally selected in a provisional selection task (43): a correction coefficient calculation task (44) calculates, on the basis of data in a property item value database (21) and a correction coefficient database (22), a mixed coal capacity correction coefficient used to correct fluctuations in pulverization amount generated by a mill when multiple types of coal are pulverized; and a pulverization amount calculation task (45) calculates, on the basis of a maximum rated pulverization amount, a mixed coal capacity correction coefficient, and a prescribed loading factor of the mill, a mixed coal pulverization amount at which multiple types of coal can be pulverized when the mill is operated at the prescribed loading factor. A determination task (46) determines, on the basis of the mixed coal pulverization amount, whether or not the provisionally selected multiple types of coal can be used.
