Abstract:
An objective of the present invention is to provide a coal thermal power generation system in which coal having a higher probability of complete combustion and a higher heat generation rate can be used as a fuel by effectively removing moisture contained in the coal. To achieve said objective, the coal thermal power generation system according to the present invention includes: a coal pulverization unit for pulverizing the coal; a coal drying unit for accommodating the pulverized coal to remove the moisture in the coal; a coal boiler for combusting the pulverized coal dried in the coal drying unit; an electricity generation unit including a steam drum, which is installed in the coal boiler and includes steam that acquires thermal energy generated by the combustion of the pulverized coal, and a steam turbine connected to the steam drum; a condenser unit for condensing the steam by collecting thermal energy from the steam that has passed through the steam turbine; and a hot air supply unit including a hot air passage, which includes a suction part through which external air is suctioned, a thermal energy acquiring part disposed in the condenser unit, and a discharge part connected to the coal drying unit, and an air blower part for blowing the air suctioned by the suction part toward the discharge part.
