Abstract:
A coat-forming device (10) is provided with a distance measuring means for measuring the distance between a skin (S) and the coat-forming device (10), a distance determining means (31) for determining whether the distance measured by the distance measuring means (30) is an appropriate distance for electrostatic spraying, and a distance notifying means (32) for informing a user of the coat-forming device (10) about the determination results from the distance determining means (31). The coat-forming device 10 is a handheld-type device that is shaped and sized so as to be able to be held in the hands of a user. It is desirable to further provide an angle measuring means (42) for measuring the angle formed by the direction of the electrostatic spray and the skin on which the coat is to be formed.
