Abstract:
Provided is a coated body which has a coating film that has good scratch resistance and good chemical resistance. A coating body which has a plastic base material and a coating film that is formed on the surface of the plastic base material, and which is characterized in that the coating film satisfies the following requirements (1) and (2).
(1) The coating film has a glass transition temperature of 30°C or higher.
(2) The coating film has a Young's modulus of 1,000 N/mm2 or less; and the coating film has an elongation of 80% or more.
Since the coating material composition for this coated body is adjusted so that the glass transition temperature and the Young's modulus of the coating film of this coated body satisfy predetermined numerical conditions, the coating film of this coated body has achieved a good balance between scratch resistance and chemical resistance.
