Abstract:
The present invention is related to a coated carbon nanotube wire (1) which exhibits excellent peeling resistance with respect to a wire material, while maintaining high flexibility. The coated carbon nanotube wire (1) is provided with: a carbon nanotube wire material (10) comprising one or a plurality of carbon nanotube aggregates (11) formed from a plurality of carbon nanotubes (11a); and an insulating coating layer (21) which coats the carbon nanotube wire material (10). The ratio of the Young's modulus of the material forming the insulating coating layer (21) to the Young's modulus of the carbon nanotube wire material (10) is in the range of 0.0001 to 0.01 inclusive.
