Abstract:
This coated cutting tool (40) has, as a hard coating, a base material-side single layer part (33) and a laminated part (34) sequentially from the side of a base material (31). The base material-side single layer part (33) comprises a hard coating mainly comprising a nitride that at least contains B, that contains Al at a proportion highest among metal (including semimetal) elements, and in which the total content ratio (atomic ratio) of Al and Cr is 0.9 or more. The laminated part (34) is formed by alternately stacking: 'a' layers each mainly comprising a nitride that at least contains B and that contains Ti at a proportion highest among metal (including semimetal) elements; and 'b' layers each mainly comprising a nitride that at least contains Cr and B and that contains Al at a proportion highest among metal (including semimetal) elements. The 'a' layers and the 'b' layers are laminated at a lamination cycle of 5-100 nm in the film thickness direction. The X-ray diffraction pattern of the portion constituted by the base material-side single layer part (33) and the laminated part (34) is a single fcc structure.
