Abstract:
A coated cutting tool provided with a base material and a coating layer formed on the surface of the base material. The coating layer comprises at least one α-type aluminum oxide layer, and in the α-type aluminum oxide layer, the texture coefficient TC (0,0,12) of the (0, 0, 12) plane is 4.0 to 8.4 and the texture coefficient TC (1, 1, 9) of the (1, 1, 9) plane is 0.5 to 3.0.
