Abstract:
Provided is a coated electrical wire comprising a core wire and a coating layer provided around the core wire, wherein the coating layer contains a copolymer containing tetrafluoroethylene units and perfluoro(propyl vinyl ether) units, the perfluoro(propyl vinyl ether) unit content of the copolymer being 4.8–5.5 mass% relative to the total monomer units, the melt flow rate of the copolymer at 372°C being 28.0–37.0 g/10 min, and the copolymer having no more than 50 functional groups per 106 main chain carbons.
