Abstract:

The present invention pertains to a coated fabric for use in an automotive airbag, more particularly, to a coated fabric suitable for a rollover curtain airbag which is produced applying a sealing agent to a coated fabric and sewing the resulting fabric and which can keep the adhesion of the sealing agent to the coat resin even after long-term and high-temperature aging. A coated fabric which is for use in an airbag and which is obtained by applying an addition-polymerizable solvent-free silicone resin to at least one surface of a woven fabric made of a synthetic fiber, characterized in that: the coating weight of the silicone resin is 15 to 45g/m2; and the weft strain/warp strain ratio as observed in stretching the coated fabric is 0.30 to 0.65.
