Abstract:
A coated magnesium oxide powder, characterized in that it is surface-coated with a double oxide and exhibits a flowability index of 25 or more and an oil absorption of 30 ml/100 g or less; a resin composition comprising the powder; and an electronic device using the resin composition. The spherical coated magnesium oxide powder is excellent in the resistance to moisture and also is excellent in flowability and in the capability of being filled in a high proportion when used as a filler into a resin.
